Acquisition Expands SCA’s Northern California Operations

CLEVELAND, March 1, 2022 – Statewide Contractors of America, Inc., a subsidiary of Sweeping Corporation of America (“SCA”), the largest power sweeping company in the United States, acquired Statewide Construction Sweeping, LLC and Szeremi Sweeping Services, LLC (“Statewide and Szeremi” or the “Companies”) from Broadtree Partners (“Broadtree”). The Statewide and Szeremi businesses, located in Fremont and Sacramento, California, respectively, are leading providers of sweeping services to construction customers throughout Northern California. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Acquisition Expands SCA’s Market Leading California Position

CLEVELAND, Feb. 24, 2022 — SCA of CA, LLC, a subsidiary of Sweeping Corporation of America (“SCA”), the largest power sweeping company in the United States, acquired all of the assets of Contract Sweeping Services, LLC (“CSS” or the “Company”) from Broadtree Partners (“Broadtree”). CSS, located in Milpitas and Stockton, California, is a leading provider of sweeping services to municipal entities throughout California. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Acquisition Expands SCA’s Southern California Footprint

Dickson, located in Downey, California, provides sweeping services to municipal entities in Southern California. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Acquisition Expands SCA’s Mid-Atlantic Footprint

CLEVELAND, Feb. 16, 2022 – Sweeping Corporation of America (“SCA”), the largest power sweeping company in the United States, acquired A-1 Striping, Inc. (“A-1”). Located in Newark, Delaware, A-1 provides sweeping services to commercial customers and property management companies throughout the region. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 

The acquisition of A-1 expands SCA’s market leading presence in Delaware and marks SCA’s second acquisition in 2022, following the company’s acquisition of Elite Maintenance.

Elite, with locations in Columbia, South Carolina and Charlotte, North Carolina, provides sweeping services to commercial customers and property management companies in both metro regions. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition of Elite expands SCA’s market leading presence in the Carolinas and marks SCA’s first acquisition in 2022.   Combined with SCA’s August 2021 acquisition of Major Clean, Inc., SCA is now the largest sweeping provider in Charlotte and Columbia.

CLEVELAND, Dec. 9, 2021 — Sweeping Corporation of America (“SCA”), the largest power sweeping company in the United States, acquired C&L Sweepers Services Corp, C&L General Services Corp, and C&L Disposal Services Corp (collectively, “C&L”).  Founded in 1971 and based in Jackson, New Jersey, C&L provides sweeping services to municipal entities, contractors and commercial customers throughout New Jersey and Philadelphia. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

Acquisition Establishes SCA as Largest Sweeping Services Provider in Texas

December 2, 2021 (Cleveland, Ohio) – Sweeping Corporation of America (“SCA”), the largest power sweeping company in the United States, acquired Waste Partners Environmental, Inc. (“Waste Partners” or the “Company”) from Tejas Investment Partners (“Tejas”).  Waste Partners was founded in 2003 and provides street and highway sweeping services, primarily for municipalities and the Department of Transportation. The Company operates from 7 facilities throughout Texas. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition of Waste Partners expands SCA’s presence in Texas, one of the fastest growing markets in the U.S.  The acquisition adds more than 175 employees and 125 trucks into SCA’s existing Texas market, making it the largest sweeping company in the state.

Clean Sweep and BLT provide sweeping services to construction and commercial customers throughout the greater Indianapolis market. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Clean Sweep and BLT primarily offer construction and commercial sweeping services, which complements SCA’s existing services in Indianapolis. This represents SCA’s 3^rd and 4^th acquisitions in Indiana.
